Sports Minister, Ndanusa, says ‘Eagles won’t find things easy in Angola’

Nigeria’s Super Eagles need to prepare to scale the greatest hurdles of their lives in Angola when they file out against the defending champions, Egypt, tomorrow in the Africa Cup of Nations event.

Minister of Sports, Engineer Isa Ndanuusa, admitted that the Africa Cup of Nations, will be a tough tournament but added that in the end, the Nigerian Super Eagles have all it takes to prove to the world that they are a super team. (more…)

Nigeria’s Super Eagles will be paid $30 000 bonus per player

Nigeria’s Super Eagles will be paid $30 000 bonus per player for every game they win at the group stage of this year’s African Nations Cup.

That figure will be reviewed and graduated upwards for the knockout stages.

Additionally, the players will be paid an appearance fee of $3 000 per game for every game they feature in at the championships.
