Irish band Westlife announced that they are going to break up in 2012 after they release a “greatest hits” album and will hold a goodbye tour.

In 2004 Westlife managed to cope with the fact that Bryan McFadden left the band, one of the founding members of Westlife.

The other four members of the band – Mark Feehily, Kian Egan, Shane Filan and Nicky Byrne – are going to release a greatest hits album on November 21.

In a message posted on the band’s website, the four members of Westlife thank their fans for this “amazing journey”.

They said that the decision is amiable.

Westlife sold more than 44 million records world wide and some of their greatest hits are Swear It Again, Flying Without Wings.

Ayodeji Richard Makun, AY has earned another
global Awards nomination for his comical and
crowd-pulling AY Live concerts at the annual Dery Entertainment's Annual Fund Raising Awards, DEAFA 2011.
Story by Olaiya Tolufashe

According to the website of DEAFA 2011, AY will
compete in the Comedian of the Year Category
against some of UK's funniest and well celebrated comedians –Eddie Kaddi and Kojo.

AY, Eddie Kaddi, and Kojo, are comedians with
knack for selling-out live comedy concerts. AY had sold out Muson Centre in Lagos in 2007; The Ladi Kwali Hall of Sheraton Hotel, Abuja in 2009; the Indigo O2 Arena, London in 2010; ThisDay Dome Abuja in 2011, and the New Expo Hall of Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos, also in 2011. Eddie Kaddi had six sold-out solo concerts – two of those in 2009 at the IndigO2, while Kojo is called "The Fresh Prince of Hackney" because he has sold out the Hackney Empire, twice, and the Catford Theatre, in London.

"I'm excited at the nomination," AY says,
"because I see it as a celebration of divine
favour which brought me from a lowly
undergraduate in Delta State University to
becoming the Event Manager of Nigeria's
finest comedian Alibaba, to been honoured
as the upcoming comedian of the Year just
four years ago, to having my producing The
AY Show, Staging AY Live comedy invasions
across Nigeria and the UK, and now to
global recognition."

Aside from the global recognition, AY has been
nominated for and won Comedian of the Year at
three separate Awards in 2011 only: City People
Entertainment Awards; National Youth Awards
and Teens Favourite Awards. AY is also nominated for the Comedian of the Year in the forth-coming National Youth Merit Award.

DEAFA is an annual Afro-European Award
Ceremony that celebrates and recognizes
achievements of European and African talents. It
is filmed a 1-hour documentary on the BBC, and
its mission is to raise funds, yearly, for a selected
Charity. The Award holds December 17, 2011 in
London.

Goldie, Ruggedman Fight Fan Dirty

I remember when I was in school, the first news
writing tip I got was that, 'when a dog bites a
man, it is not news, but when vis a vis, then it
becomes a good story.' That is why much is
expected from celebs to stay out of bad publicity.
STORY BY: Osaremen Ehi james

Goldie and Ruggedman threw decorum away
when they both took on a fan on a social
networking site, twitter on Monday October 10.
The fan with the twitter handle, akegag, tweeted, "Ruggedman deserves to die after making us endure all the wacky s**t he
makes us hear, It would be cool if he was
dead though, wack rapper."

In a reply, Ruggedman tweeted, "please twifam,
join me as I mourn the death of akegag, he died
of a homosexual related disease, he was a gay."
In a support of to colleague in the music industry, Goldie picked on akegag when she tweeted,

"you are telling celebs that they should die,
it is uncalled for. The other day, you said I
wasn't worth it, I ignored you."

Ruggedman tweeted these curses on akegag,
"Father Lord God, for akegag and anyone
like him, let his prosperity be cut off; and in
the generation following, let their names be
blotted out and cut off the memory of them
from the earth. Let his children continually
be vagabonds, and beg; let them seek
bread in desolate places. Let his prayers
become sin. In Jesus name I have prayed.
AMEN."

While Ruggedman was doing the curses, the
following was going on between Goldie and
akegag.

Akegag: "When will Goldie change her
weave, it is nasty now, maybe it is Brazilian.

Goldie: "You will be nothing but a fake wack
bas***d who thrives on twitter famzing and
will be forgotten as soon as a new social
network comes up."

Akegag: "Shut up hot kini. Goldie an ugly
whore spotting fake weave-on! National
cake, f**k anywhere belle face

Goldie: "No wonder you are confused, your
uncle actually paid to f**k your mother. So
sad you don't even know who your daddy
is. Meaning your mother was a never do
well whore who f**ked whatever was paid to
her to, including rodents and pigs.

Akegag: I bet you slept with all the
producers and they did you till all your hair
fell off, hence, the weave on. Goldie is
actually her stripper name and Ruggedman
will remain rugged and wretched. Goldie
sang you don't need to pay to touch her
body. I guess she's a free bi**h with a bald
hair-do.

Goldie: I am having fun at your expense; I
might walk around bald for all that I care, I
will still be Goldie, and you? I have nothing
more to say to you, you can kiss my fake
blonde weave-on, lol and go RIPieces as
Ruggedman has already said. Cheers.

But in a turn around, Goldie tweeted, "I really
appreciate your uncalled for insults to me
today, they have made me stronger. I am
also sorry for replying you in the same vain.
God help us all."

Akegag replied, ".You insulted me first. All I
said was your hair do and you descended on
me." And to Ruggedman, "Thanks for the
prayers; I don't think God answers such.
You are still dumb though."

“Genevieve And I Both Understand Things Couldn’t Work Out” — Dbanj

Mr. Oliver twist has been romantically linked to quite a number of nollywood divas in the past, from Rukky Sanda, mercy Johnson to Genevieve. In a recent interview on Vanguard, he opened up about his relationship with Genevieve, and he wants us to believe he never dated Genevieve even though they've been spotted hanging out together several times - like they just get along famously. And dbanj talked about the search for true love, Maybe the saying "you don't look for true love – true love will find you" is not working for the kokomaster. Lol.

On Genevieve

I really can't remember, it cost between N4m to N5m. I 'm not too sure. But I think it's a beautiful idea if not for the way everyone is trying to go about it. I think Genevieve is a stunner I could dateor love her. But we didn't date. She's my friend and a star you know. We're close and we both understand that things couldn't work out. That song was recorded two years before the video was released and it remains my biggest song ever. I wanted to make a statement with it. We had options of whom to use in the video, but at the end of the day, we saw that it's an African song and by that time I had already played it in about fifty weddings.

Am I good in bed? How I'm suppose to know? I think you should ask the women, but please don't ask a virgin. That song is misleading them. When you say how
big is the koko?, then they want to see if it's that big. But when some come, they see what they either want to see or don't expect to see.

So are you saying that the song has put you into a lot of trouble?

Yes, a lot of time. But to find a lady that really likes one genuinely makes me paranoid. Of late, I dated a lady called Dana and she doesn't even know that
I'm a musician. I told her I'm a businessman. She's based in America and I like it. Is it wrong? Even if I date a foreigner, I still have to come back home.

Are you saying you haven't met any Nigerian lady?

It's really hard to find because how will I know she likes me genuinely? My mother said I should go to Bishop Oyedepo's Church, Living Faith to find a wife.
