My advise to the Acting President Jonathan Goodluck is to declare Plateau "A state of emergency" and send in an organized and effective military or Police leadership. It is apparent, there is no effective leadership in the state and if there is, he is partisan and also a tribalist. The Governor will be the most foolish person if he tells the world this kind mayhem was unforeseen. As gruesome as this incident may appear, it is a tick for tact by the Fulanis on what the whole World saw about two months ago.

I would advise Acting President Jonathan to establish "A conflict resolution committee", identify all the leaders of the entire Jos community, bring them to the Table to start talking. This committee should be made up of respectable traditional leaders like the Oba of Benin, Sultan of Sokoto, Alaffin of Oyo, Aoni of Ife, Attah of Igala, Etsu Nupe, Attah, Obong, Amayanabor, etc, and seek their help in resolving these incessant ethic crisis setting the nation back. The warring people have to be ready to compromise for harmony to prevail. The Country needs to listen to all grievances, before solutions can be proffer.
