Technical depth will win the match. Starting shirts should be given to players with emotional intelligence and grit. Start Obafemi and rest Yakubu for early goals. Rest Etuhu and start Ayinla in the middle of the pack. Kaita has done well so far, start him and probably introduce Uche later to support Mikel with his disappointing low work rate.
The Zambians are good passers of the ball, so we need pace, vision and grit to cover those spaces. Osaze and Chinedu should continue their flank switching roles to unsettle the Zambian defence. Kalaba is the main man in the squad and requires an eagle-eyed and mentally alert backline.
Apam and Shittu have done well in the middle, but Yusuf and Echejile from the fullbacks must work on the doulble to close up and complement the central defence role efforts.
Mozambique was beaten by the players(mainly Siasia boys) sheer determination and not the input of the technical crew. They should continue to work for themselves. Meanwhile, the cheap Oyibo they wanted to hire has been fired by Mozambique. Please look elsewhere.
