Ajibola Olumuyiwa Danladi a.k.a Danny Young was born 23 years ago in the northern part of Nigeria (the most populous black nation in the world) and he is currently one of the youngest artiste/producer that Africa has produced.
Danny Young turned a singer at age 7 and had his first major performance at age 10 while growing in plateau State, Nigeria.
Danny Young did not stray into the music world as he was born and raised in a family where music runs in the blood. He hails from a hip-hop family of 6 consisting of Papa O Sid, MC Walex, Mama Tee, Keyman, Danny young and the youngest Bolaji.
His first chart bursting single SHALEWA in 2003 enjoyed very heavy rotation in most Nigerian Radio and TV stations and Welcome(Shepe Dey) featuring Lord of Ajasa gained great acceptance amongst Africans home and abroad in 2005.
This multi-talented instrumentalist, producer, studio engineer, composer, lyricist is one of the youngest taking Nigerian entertainment industry by storm. He had performed along side popular artistes home and abroad.
His first album was released in the year 2006 under the platform of a U.S based record label, Bigdeal Ent. He had done collaborations with various artists in hit songs like KoniKoni love by Klever Jay and many others.
His second album under the platform of Fliptyce Ent was released in October of 2009, which had hit songs like Gbodomi, Hilighter, My girl (ft Paul Play and Kel), Crossover (ft Olu maintain) and the chart topping hit single Oju tiwon which did exceptionally well on all Radio/TV stations home and abroad.
Danny Young is currently working on a new album set to be released by the First quarter of 2012, titled Rebirth. Out of the new album comes "Bless Me" and "My Girl" the singles/Videos released late 2010 which was very well accepted.
Recently Danny Young dropped two new singles together; Pop the Champagne and the controversial Eli Jah, both videos released at once. There is no gainsaying that this crowned prince of Afro-Hip Hop continues to be relevant and has every intention of making a lasting impression on the Nigerian Music Industry.
